What are the Requirements for Submissions?
1. Registration of your challenge team (at least 1 member from Pakistan and 1 member from UK) on texonomy.org
2. Submission of a pitch in one of two possible forms:
A voiced over presentation (5 minutes maximum)
OR
A pitch video (5 minutes maximum)
What are the Evaluation Criteria?
1. Relevance: The idea / solution should be suitable for implementation in Pakistan’s textile sector.
2. Innovation: The idea / solution should be novel, groundbreaking or taking advantage of new developments in science or practice.
3. Impact: The idea/solution must have the demonstrable potential to deliver a substantial impact in one or more of the theme areas.
4. Scale-up viability: Particular attention will be paid to ideas / solutions which have the potential to be scaled up to generate greater impact.
5. Empowerment of women and other vulnerable groups: Ideas / solutions which target issues around the empowerment of women and other key socio-economic groups affected by the textile economy.
Who should apply for the TEXONOMY challenge prize?
The prizes will be awarded to Early Career Researchers from Pakistan and the UK who collaborate and demonstrate a passion to develop a circular economy in Pakistan’s textile sector.

Ans: A faculty member who have received PhD after 2010 (career breaks can be taken into consideration)

Ans: No, teams must be made up of at least two members (1 from Pakistan and 1 from the UK)
Q: Can I submit more than one application?
Ans: You may apply for only one entry as a Principle Investigator.
Q: Who will be on selection panel?
Ans: The panel will consist of 7 members of the Texonomy Steering Council - Principle Investigators (02), Mentors (04) and British Council Representatives (01)
